Deborah Lee Proaño is a Singaporean film and video-game music composer based in Los Angeles. She left Singapore in 2010 to study film-scoring at the UCLA-Extension Film Music Composition program. Since completing the program in 2012, she has worked on a range of projects from short-films to documentaries to podcasts and mobile-games. In addition to working as a composer, she also writes her own music as a singer-songwriter. She raised $10,000 USD to produce her debut album titled “Home” in 2012. “Home” was released in 2014 and distributed throughout Singapore in Starbucks Outlets, and was warmly received by her fans and Kickstarter supporters at her opening concerts in Singapore and Los Angeles.
